Account information. When you sign up, we (via Firebase Authentication) collect your email address and, if you sign in with a third-party provider, basic profile info (e.g., name) that provider shares with us.

Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and stores your payment details directly. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g., subscription status, renewal date) — we do not receive or store your full card number.

Usage data. We collect basic technical data about how you use the Service (e.g., pages visited, timestamps, device/browser type, IP address) to operate and improve the Service and diagnose issues.

Content you provide. Anything you submit to us directly, such as support requests.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• To process subscriptions and billing;
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests;
• To monitor for fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We rely on the following third parties to operate SharpBet, each of which processes certain data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and hosting;
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
• Render — backend application and database hosting.

The statistics and odds data we display are sourced from public/licensed sports-data providers and don't involve your personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., local storage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (like your selected sport), and understand basic usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Service functionality.

We share information only with the service providers listed above (as needed to operate the Service), when required by law or legal process, to protect the rights and safety of SharpBet and our users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you where required).

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and record-keeping purposes. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see below).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also update or delete most account information directly from your account settings.

SharpBet is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, we'll provide additional notice (such as email).
